SAFETY RULES


(Workshop Rules that you have to follow for your own safety and the safety of others.)

1. ALWAYS LISTEN CAREFULLY TO THE TEACHER AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.
2. IF YOU DON´T KNOW HOW TO USE A TOOLS/MACHINE ASK THE TEACHER
3. USE THE RIGHT TOOL FOR EACH JOB. IF NOT SURE, ASK THE TEACHER
4. LONG HAIR MUST BE TIED BACK.
5. STRICTLY NO RUNNING AND NO PUSHING
6. ALWAYS BE PATIENT, NEVER RUSH IN THE WORKSHOP
7. KEEP HANDS AWAY FROM MOVING/ROTATING MACHINERY
8. USE HAND TOOLS CAREFULLY, KEEPING BOTH HANDS BEHIND THE CUTTING EDGE.
9. REPORT ANY DAMAGE TO MACHINES/EQUIPMENTS AS THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT.
10. IF YOU SPILL ANYTHING, CLEAR IT UP.
11. IF YOU BREAK ANYTHING, TELL THE TEACHER.
12. HAVE FUN IN A SAFE AND SECURE MANNER.
13. MAKE THE WORKSHOP A SAFE AND NICE PLACE TO WORK IN.
14. WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED, PUT THE TOOLS AWAY IN THE CORRECT PLACE.
15. TIDY UP AFTER YOURSELF, LEAVING THE WORKSHOP AS YOU FOUND IT OR TIDIER AND CLEANER.
